OUR PROGRAMMING

V81 Radio currently boasts of a rich and well-thought-out programming designed to satiate its audience regardless of age or musical inclination. With pure Original Pilipino Music (OPM) programming Mondays through Fridays, we indulge the musical cravings of Pinoys, wherever they may be with our homegrown hits.

Just to keep things balanced, non-OPM hits are featured by the hour via several special segments. Weekend programming gets more diverse with both OPM and foreign hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s to the present as well as soul-enriching Christian music.

This is further enriched by highly informative and entertaining talk show programs tackling topics such as health and wellness, business and finance, IT and technology, real estate, public service, entertainment news, immigration services, and a gamut of other topics that will be both useful and interesting for the global Pinoys.

DIGITAL MILESTONES

2014

The station kicked off in Modesto, California via a streaming server with sub server in San Francisco, California and only music focused programming.

2016

The first Philippine broadcast studio (V81 Radio North Manila) opened in Kamias, Quezon City, Philippines.

2018

V81 Radio Hong Kong opened its first broadcast studio.

2019

(Third Quarter) V81 Radio South Manila was born.

2020

(First Quarter) V81 Radio Digital Studios came into global streaming and broadcasting waves on sharing platforms in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2022

(Fourth Quarter) V81 Radio Los Angeles opened its Studio in Chino, California spearheading its full operations campaign to include media network presence in San Francisco and San Diego.
