The 15-year old songstress enthusiastically expressed via Twitter her sheer excitement about releasing her first singlewhich came out last June 16. She mentioned that it is both “unbelievable and amazing” to have her initial single finally come out.

In March, the stunner created a buzz after her soulful rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” made rounds on the internet garnering over 200,000 views. Her “Say You Won’t Let Go” cover also dominated YouTube, boasting more than 340,000 views. Undeniably an internet favorite,Angelina has 293,000 Instagram followers and counting.

“Sumilong Ka” is a cheerful acoustic anthem that expresses the persona’s affection for a boy while she romantically daydreams of them under one umbrella on a rainy day. With lyrics fit for the rainy season, the harmonious blends make the track an easy listen, as Angelina’s sweet vocals naturally bring out the positive and hopeful essence of the song.
