Jong happily shared his journey on The Clash and his backstory as a dancer before pursuing his singing career. He also shared that his audition for The Clash was unexpected. He was supposed to apply to get a passport but the lane that he was in, was for the Clash audition in Davao. Jong was indeed thankful because of how the event turned for him.

Talking about his journey on the Clash, Jong shared that he was more scared to the judges and audience rather than his co-contestants because of his growing friendship with the other finalist. He also mentioned how he adjusted a lot of things for him to get to know more of his new found friends on the Clash.

Aside from sharing his amazing story, he also shared how he composes songs. He said that his inspiration in writing songs came from his personal experience. He also performed his latest single “Ano Ba” and invited everyone to catch him on Studio 7 every Sunday on GMA.
